Aromatherapy Bath Products and Water Massage Therapy
If you plan to specialize in water massage therapy, you should seriously consider incorporating an aromatherapy bath product or two into your routine. Since the two are so closely related (they both use water as a medium), and because the two or so effective, it makes a lot of sense to use them in tandem. Either alone is great, but the two together are excellent.
What Is an Aromatherapy Bath Product?
Shower gels, bath beads, candles, incense, herbal soaps, and incense are all examples of a standard aromatherapy bath product. They come in many different shapes and sizes, but the overall essence is the same. Their job is to release relaxing aromas into the air that help calm the body and stimulate the various senses.
What Exactly Is Water Massage Therapy?
Although it comes in different forms, water massage therapy involves using the natural properties of water to help soothe the body. This includes soaking the body, applying jet streams to sore muscles, simulating a womb, and heating the muscle groups. As you can imagine, water massage therapy is extremely effective at relaxing the body and alleviating stress.
Should you decide to specialize in water massage therapy, incorporating aromatherapy seems like a logical next step. Don't overlook the importance of stimulating all the senses (including the sense of smell) during your massage sessions. Both your clients and your business will thank you for it.
