But once you graduate, however, you might be at a loss as to where to go to pick up supplies for your own practice. It seems like a fairly easy purchase, but unfortunately, not all massage tables are of the same caliber.

After Holistic Healing School
Once you are on your own, you might feel "totally" on your own. But your holistic healing school (or massage therapy school) will always be a resource to you even well after you graduate. Try asking your instructors or fellow students for recommendations on where to buy accessories and equipment such as massage tables. Make sure you stick with a reputable vendor who sells quality items at fair prices. Launching your own massage therapy career can be very daunting, but given the culture of holistic healing, it is highly unlikely that you will ever be 100% on your own. There will always be others there to guide you on the way.

Are Massage Tables Important for Thai Massage?
If you plan to focus exclusively on Thai massage, you might not feel that a massage table is necessary for your practice. But remember that the most successful massage therapists are the ones who specialize in a variety of areas. It's OK to become an expert in one particular style, but familiarity with numerous styles will vastly improve your overall business. So although Thai massage does not necessarily require a massage table, you will have to branch out and explore other massage techniques eventually. So having a good massage table when you first begin is still important.
