Before selecting a program, be sure to check their course offerings to ensure that they can certify you in this particular field. You can also learn sports massage therapy at many physical therapy schools as well. However, it might be more difficult to transition into other massage styles should you decide to change careers further down the road. This is especially true since the licensing exams for physical therapy and massage therapy are extremely different.
